In 1961, Maple Leaf Mills was created through the amalgamation of Maple Leaf Milling Company, Toronto Elevators, and Purity Flour Mills Limited – which traced its history to 1836 and the founding of Grantham Mills. Three decades later, Maple Leaf Mills came together with Canada Packers to create Maple Leaf Foods, Canada’s largest food processor. Ready Foods specializes in custom food solutions. We provide expertise to scale up menu concepts with consistency and quality. Our own line of products offers menu items to smaller operations and our co-packing team can help larger chains scale up their concepts. Syracuse Sausage serves national restaurant chains, major grocery stores, and other food service firms. And it’s still a family business. Anthony and Bobby Musacchio continue to make great-tasting sausages and meatballs from authentic recipes and pure, simple ingredients. The kind of food that came out of Mom’s kitchen all those years ago. Brands include Syracuse Sausage Company, Chef Jose, and Mulays.

Making food memories since 1893, Vienna Beef found fame at the World’s Fair/Columbian Exposition, when Emil Reichel and Samuel Ladany debuted their sausages, made according to their Austrian-Hungarian roots. The Chicago Style Hot Dog became an institution during the Great Depression, thanks to its bounty of condiments and five-cents price tag. Today, Vienna Beef products are made right at home in Chicago, in small batches according to our traditional recipes.
